Are you looking for a last minute idea for Christmas cookies??

Try this recipe for Macadamian Snowball Cookies:

You will need the following:

2 sticks of butter

1/2 cup of confectioner sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 cup quick cooking oats (uncooked)

1 teaspoon vanilla

3.5 oz macadamian nuts, chopped up fine

First beat the butter with mixer until creamy, then add the sugar and beat again to mix well.

Next add the flour and vanilla - mix again. Slowly add the oats while mixing and finally add the chopped nuts.

Form little 1-inchballs and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 for approximately 12 minutes.

Once they are out of the oven roll them in extra confectioner sugar and then cool on wire racks.
