San Ysidro, California, which is 35 minutes away from downtown San Diego is preparing to expedite the first phase of the $577 Million dollar expansion of the largest border project in US History. The San Ysidro Port of Entry, experiences 50,000 vehicles and 25,000 pedestrians that utilize this border crossing daily into the State of California from Mexico.
This expansion will include more vehicle lanes, and a wider and longer pedestrian bridge, if every thing goes according to plans this expansion will be completed in 18 months.
