Newbie to Blogging

Hello and thank you for this opportunity to join in the fun of blogging.

I have been thinking about joining this form of communication for some time and today while checking out a staging person for homes and her news letter I stumbled across Active/Rain for the second time and decided to check it out.

So now I am trying to learn all about the etiquette of blogging and just what I'm to put on my blog page for the world to see. I am a self taught computer person and I received my e PRO certification last year and their community is very clear that Realtors must get into the mainstream of and be a part of this community.

This is my first post and I would appreciate any constructive help... I intend to be active and around for a long time

Judy - welcome to the rain! I look forward to getting to know you! Find a topic that you are passionate about - write a rough draft and post it here and we'll get started. I look forward to getting to know you.

Judy - as a follow up thought, lol, take a look a some of the Post to Localism and see you if you can come up with a good local interest piece, these types local interst post/articles are great to begin working with for a new blogger.

I think your first blog is great. I was unaware of posting to groups when I posted my first blog. I don't know where it ended up, but I got one comment. You're doing very well.

I'm very confused now as I don't know how to respond to your comments. I am using the leave a response page and hope this is the reponse I'm to use.. Please bear with me on this,, I do so appreciate your help and response but guess this is the part of the learning curve. I will post to the formal part next about either my area of Indian Wells,Ca or being a e-PRO...

This is a super place to get advice on your blogs!! It sure helped me to have the courage to pound away the key board add cool graphics/pics & links. I'm learning everyday. AR is super.

Judy, now maybe I'm confused. You are doing a great job of commenting. Our goal in this group is to help you "pretty up" a post to put in other groups by adding photos or helping in any way we can.
