I was doing some research this evening for real estate domain names, and I used an old domain name research tool that I find very effective.  I've not heard it talked about much online, but thought this would be a good time to share the website.  The names of the site is called "Nameboy.com!"

Nameboy.com allows you to do custom searches when trying to see if a great domain names are left.  What I like is that I can join or separate words that I would like to have in a real estate domain names for stickiness.  Example: Atlanta + homes or + real estate + for Sale... I have purchased quite a few domain names over the years as a direct result of doing research on this site.  This is a great research tool!

Jim: What a great tool.  Just today I was trying to figure out a new domain name for a new free website I was going to try and here you are helping me out.  I have a son, daughter in law and 2 grandchildren who live in Alpharetta and another daughter who lives there also.  We visit 3 or 4 times a year and always enjoy the area but oh my how do you live with all that traffic!  I am in the Mid Hudson Valley of New York state and our youngest daughter tells her Alpharetta friends her home town still has more cows than people! On the flip side your real estate market is so much more active than ours.  Nice to "meet" you.

Diana see now I am from New York Originally!  Dutchess county is so pretty!  The real estate market here is not as vibrant as it once was.  Still not too bad!

Thanks Jim. That's one very cool method for checking different combination of words for your web-site. I just gave it a try and I was surprised by the number of options I had never thought about.

Jim, I'm going to bookmark it and check it.  I have several domain names but the extras I purchased all just point to my site.  I am wondering whether to create anything with them (or why am I buying them?).  But I usually just go to the sites and try different names, those sites don't give these options.  Thanks so much for the information!

Carole A small second site is much more beneficial than a pointing url.  Design something yourself, host for $50 a year.

I will have to keep this in mind for later. I have two website domains now and that is about all I want to keep up with. That reminds me...my bill is due on one of them.
