NOTHING STOPS A REALTOR!!
On Monday, December 21, I was praising the beauty of snow and on Tuesday, December 22, it was another story. Oh Yes! T
he snow is still beautiful, but on Tuesday I was stuck in it!! We had just had the biggest snow for years, in Southern Maryland.
I had the call to show a rental property! I dared to try to go up a driveway that had not yet been plowed. Nothing stops a Realtor!! After all I had all wheel drive. All went well until I was three quarters of the way up. Tires started spinning. I reached forward and pressed the button (traction control/vehicle stability that is) and applied more gas, just like my husband taught me. Oh! Oh! a sideways move towards the edge of the driveway.
Nothing stops a Realtor!! Don't give up, try again. Apply more gas and slide another foot sideways, this time towards the trees. Oh! Oh! only a foot away from the trees and a downward incline! Time to call my husband and tell him the little button didn't work! He says I should try again and don't worry about the trees! Can you believe it! I don't have the confidence in me that he has in the truck!
My client shows up and, since Nothing Stops a Realtor!! I show the property. He likes it, but only for six months!
Two vehicles, two men, two tow ropes and two hours later I'm safely down the driveway. Nothing Stops a Realtor!!
