One of the reasons I love living in southern Utah is...
When it's snowing everywhere around us (look in the background), we still have mild temperatures! My boys play outside year 'round and enjoy the fact they do not have to get bundled up to do so. We have 4 reservoirs within a half hour's drive, one less than a mile so it's easy to pack a few poles and lunch and get some fishing in!
Southern Utah is a great place to live, work AND play in a t-shirt if you prefer!

We live on the southern tip of Utah so we do have those milder winter conditions as opposed to our northern cities, thank goodness. I'm becoming allergic to the cold!

It has turned into a beautiful day here, hasn't it?! I also love St. George because we can enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass in December. There are few places like it! Merry Christmas, Wanda!

Trey, We are located 36 miles from the SE Nevada border and we hike, bike and golf year 'round! The snow birds come here from Idaho, Wyoming, Canada, Minnesota and other northern states and stay in their winter homes until Spring.
Pat, We get a few snowfalls where I live but typically the St. George area has warmer temps!

I did not know that about St. George, though I have been to Utah several times! I love cold weather, Colorado style, most of the time, (since you are a CO girl, I will tell you I have lived in Leadville, Gunnison, and several other cold mountain towns) but LOOKING at cold weather is a different concept! Cute pic!
Cheryl. I lived at Ft. Carson, in Widefield, Colorado Springs and finally in Glenwood Springs (17 years total). I'm still a Broncos fan and now that I've moved to southern Utah, enjoy warmer weather but do enjoy my visits to Colorado to see friends!
Rifle was one of my "mtn. towns", so I know Glenwood well! I lived there from '90 to '95, and worked in Junction.
