After 91 days from the original date of quit claim deed. We are finally closing my nightmare..... This home has been a challenge. This was suppose to be a very easy check. Approved buyers, found a home that was not on the market yet, we could close in less than two weeks. Yea right!!!! One hurdle after another. This home is truly a blessing for the buyers...... Just everyone remember if you have a quit claim and the people are getting a FHA loan. You have to wait 91 days from that date to close...

Best of luck.  At least you got over that hurdle and can look back when it is all said & done and say you did it!

The loan officer should have told you that would happen form day 1-we, as loan oofficers, are the "experts" of the money as the realtors are the experts in getting the buyers and sellers together and fairly negotiated!

They could have always went subprime then refinanced into an FHA without paying 2 sets of closing costs-I hope the loan officer offfered that possibility?  If not, then, at least now you know a little about FHA-and will hopefully work with a loan officer that knows more than you do about them!

Anyway......Congrats-it's almost closed!
