Buy Shift by Gary Keller NowSHIFT Tactic #4, Find the Motivated - Lead Generation. One of the things I love about SHIFT is how Gary Keller integrates quotes throughout the text. He begins tactic 4 by quoting Jonathan Winters as saying "If your ship doesn't come in, swim out to it." Shift tactic #4 is reliant upon stepping up lead conversion and qualifying those leads. We're to identify our sources of business, stop doing what doesn't work in this changed environment and focus on what does work.  Gary Keller urges us to time block for 3 hours of active lead generation daily. We should consider that  lead generation is our #1 priority, even over transactional obligations. He ends this section with a reminder that as Realtors we must put ourselves in the path of business.
