If you read this story to the end, there are many lessons to be learned, but many seek their own meaning,
including me.

To me it can be taken two ways. The first is getting your home permitted and inspected prior to move in, or have it blow down in the next storm.

The second one, my wife says, is not the moral of the story at all. I say is forget about your home all together and sponge off your rich older brother.

OH WAIT! I'm the older brother, forget number two! My wife was correct. Please get your home permitted and inspected prior to building or remodeling your home or face the realization your home may just not hold up in the next big storm.

For more information on the importance of home inspections and permits as it pertains to the value of your home please feel free to contact me anytime.

A fun way to drive home a serious point. Good Post.

Here is hoping that, if you get a good home inspection, it will not blow down. Of course, in certain storms I suppose that would be pretty hard to predict in advance.

Well that was short, sweet and to the point.  <g>

Often people don't want to deal with the inspections and permits because it is unpleasant.  Much better to nip it in the bud from the get go or face a nightmare when they want to sell or re-finance.

Great post!
