12 Comments on NEVER KNOW WHERE A *NEW* CLIENT WILL COME FROM
Valerie:
My latest client came from the next table at Starbucks yesterday afternoon. While tring to just chill out, Sitting at the table was there two guys just chatting - about starting up a business of cleaning office places. Third guy walked by stopped to talk with them, and recognized me. He than got me involved in the discussion. It seems one the guys is new in town and as well as tring to start the business is looking for a convient place to live.
Will be stopping by Starbucks more often and sip on coffee by the fireplace.
Valerie, I have never had to give blood in exchange for a referral, but hey what is a little blood in return for a sale .......... LOL
Merry Christmas :) :) :)
Valerie, it is amazing how a little bit of time and a comfortable personality can get a door opened. Last week as I was giving blood the technician started talking about having to sell her house because her husband just got a big promotion and they needed to move. Needless to say she got my card and I got an appointment to meet with them in January. A big smile goes a long way, not to mention not fainting when they come out with the needle.
Hi Valerie,
Well, I guess I better go and get my blood checked then! LOL
Have a wonderful Christmas and talk again soon.
Steve
WAY TO GO, VAL.....
Bob.. You are right.. I think I might go to Starbucks too. I love their coffee.. and you never know where it will lead to.
George... We all give blood in this job.. just some of us do it literally. :) Hope you had a great Christmas too.
Ed... I truly think that customer service and meeting up with people on a one-on-one.. NOT texting clients/potential clients has a HUGE impact. As I mentioned to George.. we all give blood in this job.. some just literally.. like you and me.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Steve.. You should check out your sugar level in your blood.. especially after eating those cookies.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas.
Laura.. YOU ARE BACK!!! iT IS GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU.
Valerie, First, let me say, Happy New Year to you:) I love the new hairdo! Buffini teaches us to hand out and talk with, five people each day, that you don't know.
Sounds like you are on your way to a really good 2010! Whoo Hoo!
It's a Good Life,
Fran
Fran.. Here's to hoping 2010 is a great year... for both of us. I'll try whatever it takes to move this economy forward.. and increase my pocketbook. :)
