It is Payroll Friday - We could be in for a bumpy ride

Today at 8:30 ET the payroll numbers will be released. Estimates are that 125,000 to 128,000 new jobs will be reported. Some are estimating the numbers will come in around 140,000 which would have a negative impact on rates. ADP reported higher than expected numbers but their private estimates are not always a good predictor for the Jobs numbers. We will know in just 90 minutes.

It always gets me, when good news puts the equity markets into a tailspin. I guess we need just enough bad news to keep things stable.

We are having a better MAY and JUNE than last year, by far... whatever's happening - I hope it continues.

I like short and to the point blogs, some people seem to think that adding a few paragraphs to something makes it better, well sometimes but usually it just adds a bunch of info that nobody wants to know.

Nice, short sweet and to the point.
