Members of Covenant Presbyterian Church are hands-on supporters of the Homeless Shelter in Woodbridge, Virginia. Arthur and I enjoy being a part of this ministry especially during holidays.

Last week we and several other members met with the families living there to

  • take photos of individuals and families.
  • we edited the photos, framed them and
  • wrapped them as Christmas gifts

This week we gave them to the residents during dinner which we cooked and served.

Arthur took both their portraits and snapshots at the dinner (when he wasn't cooking). We're sharing a few of the photos to show you how little it takes to put big smiles on the faces of people in crisis.

Neither Arthur nor I will ever forget these smiles.
