Jennifer, this is an awesome shot. LOVE New York! Though I've only been there one time, it was enough to keep me wanting to return. It is an amazing city. ;-)

Merry Christmas

Hi Jennifer - I just learned that this is one of the best ways to photograph tall buildings -- stand right at the bottom and look up -- and you proved it with this shot.

Jennifer,

Nice attempt to get the whole building in there. Isn't it amazing that someone actually designed this and then people built it? :)

Jennifer,

Thank you for the mention and link love. Sorry I'm late to your blog. I've been having the busiest December ever. I hope it is a good sign for 2010. Great shot. Is that Rockefeller Center?

I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I'm looking forward to finally meeting you at rain camp.

George, LOL

Jennifer, I can never get my skyscrapers so good in photos.  I'd lay on the ground but I'd be trampled in a New York minute!  Happy  Holidays!

I haven't been to NYC (aside from an annoying drive-thru) since I was a SMALL child.  I would love to make it to Inman/Rain Camp/rebarcamp...

Jennifer,

What a great thing to do - point Rain Camp Attendees to Michael's blog.

I have never been to NYC, I've been in northern New York state but not the city.

Nice photo, did you take it?

We had a skyscraper in my little hometown of Kingsville, Texas (pop. 25,000). It was four stories tall. So impressive.

Then I got to go to Corpus Christi for Regional and State Choir and Orchestra and see real skyscrapers. Thirty stories tall.

Then I made it to Houston, Detroit, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles. Ah, there's nothing like a good, tall, skyscraper reaching up to the sky.

Happy Holidays!
