Since we generally do not get a White Christmas, we decided to build a snowman made of the finest, natural material that is found all over southern Utah and use that in the picture for our Christmas card.
- My husband gathered three tumbleweeds, a small, medium and large size
- He spray painted them all white with a water based paint
- Planted a 4 foot post into the ground and stacked the tumbleweeds, one on top of the other
- I grabbed a red scarf and hat from my bedroom
- The boys cut squares from black construction paper and glued them in place
- A carrot from the refrigerator finished up his face
- And we took the picture!
Wallah! A Southern Utah Snowman! May you all have a fabulous Christmas and New Year celebration!
