We Should Respect Each Others Religious Beliefs This Holiday Season And Always

By
Real Estate Agent

Every year in my home I display my Christmas cards that I receive.  It's my own special way of remembering my wonderful friends who thought enough of me to send  a card.  When I received another one yesterday, I was putting it in its rightful place among the others when I realized that on all the cards that I received except one said "Happy Holidays" or "Season Greetings". Have you ever had one of those moments when a thought hit you so hard that it would bring tears to your eyes? Are we so afraid of offending someone that we have left the Christian meaning out of our Christmas cards? We should respect each others religious beliefs this Holiday Season and not have any fear of offending anyone.  You have your spirtual beliefs and I have mine.

So to my dear Jewish friends Happy Hanukkah, my Christian friends Merry Christmas. Everyone should be proud of what they believe in.

Below is my Christmas card to you.

And the angel said unto them: Fear not, for behold, I bring to you good tidings

of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day and into

this City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:20 - 10-11).

Merry Christmas From My Home To Yours.....

Good point. I always take it as a nice gesture when someone says happy whatever. People try way too hard to be insulted when no insult was intended.
