Have you walked the LaCamas Heritage Trail? It is tucked away down by the LaCamas lake in Camas, WA located in Clark County, WA. There is great parking provided for your convenience. The 7.5 mile trail is very, very walkable. It's not a difficult trail and explores many nooks and crannies on the west side of the LaCamas lake. Another really neat thing about all this wilderness enjoyment is that this trail backs to some of the beautiful homes in the LaCamas Shores Drive area. These are upper scale homes and the backyards that border the trail are gorgeous. But even better than that are the opportunities to view wildlife along these trails. There are all sorts of ducks, fish and other water animals to enjoy. If you are into geocaching...there are even some caches hidden in and around this popular walking trail. There are opportunities there to hike, bike, walk, run, fish, picnic and in the summer you can even rent a canoe to glide along the beautiful LaCamas lake itself.

This sounds like a nice trail! A friend/neighbor of mine in HR recently bought a house in Camas. She was telling us about how nice Camas' downtown is (similar to Hood River with quaint shops, etc). We had to take a drive there to check it out as we hadn't been to Camas in many years. It is a nice historic downtown. I like the parking.
