Merry Christmas
http://www.aish.com is a beautiful and very useful Jewish website that I enjoy. I have to teach my children how to pray in Hebrew and English so I need all the help that I can get because they are visual learners. Daddy is Jewish so we do a lot of very interesting things. Running a Judeo-Christian household means I am always being exposed to documents written in multiple languages. Ergo, I have intellectual and cultural issues (LOL). Luckily for me I have wonderful friends who help educate me while I am running amuck in my language studies and/or getting stuff translated. A few, like Susana, even help out with my Hebrew and Russian lessons (LOL). It's a lot of fun. I enjoy the research. Life is good... :-)
I am blogging live from Manhattan (New York, NY) because I want to teach Stephen about Christmas and the Messiah. We are going on a buggy ride to eyeball a cathedral and a host of other landmarks. I want him to observe some very interesting sites and I want him to experience the wonder of playing in the snow while visiting a few cultural icons. God is in the details of our intelligent design so I am using life as something the wee ones can relate the concept of God to.
We are going to be collecting a whole bunch of NYC eye candy today. My kids love going on audio/video outings and weather is never an issue. I'm letting Stephen pick the directions we should travel. I have all day to entertain the little minions (LOL). My fave moments so far? Watching him run up and down the Museum of Natural History entrance steps counting them out of order and drooling over Donald Trump's building. My shorty has very good taste. He knows the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows Park and was shocked and excited to see another version of a giant globe in Manhattan (LOL). Letting him pick out horses to buggy ride with is kinda fun too. We are probably going to take the train back down to 59th Street to get our car. We have to pick up Noah and let him make the next set of travel arrangements. The kids are my Christmas TomTom today (LMAO). :-)
While we fool around on Central Park West planning an intimate ski playdate for upstate this weekend I would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas.
