If you travel just a short way north from the Midland Road/Highway 1 interstection, you will find the small community of Hyland Hills. The streets in Hyland Hills are within or border the golf course (under new ownership recently and now called Hyland Golf Club) and many are cul-de-sacs. You will find a mix of low to moderate priced condos and moderate priced homes within the area. Homes in Hyland Hills are located in the Southern Pines Area (out of city limits) which means owners only pay county taxes.
The location of the community attracts all types of homeowners, including military who appreciate the easy commute to Fort Bragg and Pope AFB. Residents also enjoy quick access to Highway 1 and just a short drive south to many favorite shopping and restaurant destinations in Southern Pines and Aberdeen.
There are not a tremendous number of single family homes in the neighborhood, so at times you may not find one currently for sale. However, you will normally find several condos available for sale at any given time.
