Only in the Junction

Title Insurance with Fidelity National Title

This photo is of an actual private golf club in Apache Junction, Arizona.  The Snakehole Golf and Country Club is a 9 hole course with no grass.  The greens are oiled sand, and need to be raked after putting out.

The members live across the street in a winter visitor RV and mobile home park.  During the winter months, one can find half a dozen or so golfers out on the course...

Only in Apache Junction...

Nice it's just 1 big sand trap. Hate to see the par's on that course. I really would not even attempt that place, thanks for sharing.

Bill,

I have driven past that place!  I thought the sign was a joke! It was mid summer and about 114 degrees, but I didn't think it was real.  Thanks for sharing

Bill,

This is a crack up!  Do you live in Apache Junction?  I don't get to that side of town very often.

Great place for a winter golf outing...maybe.  Looks like it would be a great place to practice and get a tan. LOL

Apache Junction has changed a lot over the past few decades, but at least the golf course is still there.  It has a nice setting beside the Superstition Mountains (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superstition_Mountains).
