Motivational Power Quote

Procrastination is a Slow Death

"Procrastination is the grave

in which opportunity is buried."

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Procrastination is a slow death

A procrastinator dies a slow death; they die a little more each day by putting things off. It becomes a slow and painful death of one's career and creeps into every aspect of our lives.

Procrastination drains the essences of our energy and kills our motivation.

Prioritize what has to be done by there importances. Put that list into a written list by importances. Develop a plan and put it into effect to complete the tasks by there order of importances.

Commit yourself to take the necessary actions to successfully achieve closure to each item on that list and start today.

Never put off what can be done today until tomorrow.

Lou,

I went back to the Franklin Covey system and you're absolutely right. If you write it down and work on the highest priorities, things get done.

This sure is the truth if I every read it.  A procrastinator will loose everything if they are not careful.

Good post. Thanks

Hi Lou:

I always try to get things done now...

Tomorrow turns into next week...which then turns into never.

It sure is a slow death and sometimes quite painful.  In the past, I have fallen prey to it and know it's sting and remind myself of it when I don't "feel" like doing something.

Hi Lou, The "list" for me is mandatory.  If I write it down, and prioritize it always gets done.
