Colorado Networking

Has anyone ever put out the idea of us locals getting together, getting to know one another, each other's businesses, etc? Maybe even an informal networking group, that we could bring other professions into? I have seen other groups before, like BNI, rotary, chambers, etc. but might be fun to have a group that already talks in another forum (Active Rain). Let me know what you all think!
