The North Shore on Oahu was closed yesterday due to the high swells. I was in Kealakekua Kona today and observed the high surf and the numerous surfers trying to catch the perfect wave.
As each wave approched the surfers would selectively decide if it were large enough to ride. Carefully study your market with the intent in becoming a market expert.
They would carefully climb onto their board as the wave came close to curling. Repitition is the secret to successs.
Sometimes the surfer would stand up only for a short distance than fall into the curl. Develop a business plan and consistenctly test it for its effectiveness.
Each surfer stayed in their own area without hitting or running into another surfer. Gossip and backstabbing others will cause your demise.
Some surfers periodically would ride the wave into the shore. It appeared that only the proficient and expert surfers were able to ride the wave and to catch the ideal curl. Success repeats success.
