That is very creative, Liz!  My wife used to cut hair for almost 20 years and what a creative way to keep kids from squirming and being anxious!

My Sister takes my nephew to a place similar in decor for his haircuts. Formatting the surroundings to their exact market is genius, and really does help calm the fears of those first few snips! Great pic!

Hi Liz there was a shop like that here in town when my kids were little but it didn't stay in business.  Not sure why not.  Seems like a good idea.
