400,000 Reasons to stay CONNECTED on ActiveRain

By
Real Estate Agent with AllMountainRealty.com

This post puts me over the 400,000 point mark. I thought about what to write for a few days. In the end the journey to this point is what stood out as being the important experience to post about.

When I started writing posts I wrote almost exclusively about Real Estate. Most of my posts still are about Real Estate but with a difference. Now my post are about experiences in Real Estate rather than rules of Real Estate. I learned that most folks here know the rules. So I learned

I have written many posts about events and things that happen in life. I posted about local events and businesses. I also learned how to post pictures. Posting pictures seems to get a big response. I learned some more.

I also read more and more posts. This is really where my learning curve took off.  The collective experiences here are really awesome. There are many on line folks here I would call friends. I attended their seminars on line and read things they had published. I continued to learn

I went to seminars given here about growing through technology and came away with new ideas and with my batteries charged. I met some of the ActiveRain folks in person. I traveled and I learned

I listened to the ActiveRain seminars and learned how to get the most Google juice out of a blog. This blog is not an example of that. I learned more

I have received leads from members and have had buyers and sellers contact me through my ActiveRain Blog. Along the way I EARNED as well as learned from this Network

In the end I increased my knowledge as a Realtor, made a bunch of friends and grew my business though ActiveRain. To all the members and the GREAT folks at ActiveRain thank you for the experience. I am looking forward to learning, earning, and having fun along the way to the next 400,000 points.

Congrats on racking up the points.  I wonder is AR will do a study on points and it's correlation to income.  Wouldn't that be useful.  Best to you.

Impressive! What I'm learning by reading the milestone posts of so many agents here is that being on ActiveRain is an exponential experience. Is there even a way to add up the cumulative hours in real estate of all the agents combined here? Surely there is a solution for almost every problem that has ever come in during the course of a transaction. Finding that solution sometimes is as easy as asking the question in the search feature. Charlie, how wonderful that you've made new friends and bathed in the ActiveRain. Congratulations!
