Eldridge and Park View, Iowa First-Half 2007 Real Estate Market Report: Home Sales Up 4.8%, Average Home Sales Price Up 7.2% from 2006!

 Real Estate Market Report of Home Sales for January-June 2007 for  Eldridge and Park View, Iowa: 

REALTOR-assisted "Closed" single-family home sales in the cities of Eldridge and Park View, Iowa increased by 4.8% in the first two quarters of 2007, up from the same period in 2006.

With 44 closed sales transactions from January 1 to June 30, 2007, the Eldridge and Park View markets showed an increase of 2 units (4.8%) from the 2006 total of 42 closed sales transactions.

On a happier note for home sellers, the average sales price of home sales that closed during the same period showed a significant increase of 7.2%: up from $197,079 in 2006, to $211,219 in 2007.

The average number of days on the market (from home listing date to sale pending date) increased slightly as well, from 47 Days in 2006, to 48 Days in 2007, an incecrease of 0.6%.

The list price to sales price ratio, (reflecting the percentage of the last recorded listing price of a property versus what the property eventually sold for) decreased slightly as well, from 96.1% in 2006 to 96.4% in 2007. 

The Quad-City Area market is made up of the cities of Davenport, Bettendorf, LeClaire, Eldridge and Blue Grass, in Iowa. And Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, and Milan, in Illinois.
