Holiday Relatives

I posted a blog on Active Rain about my trip to my daughters for Christmas.

I thought about this and did not put it in but decided to blog about it.

Her sister in law brought her two dogs, they are the cutest things but protective of her and spoiled.

They begged when we were eating, and were always in her lap.

My 5 year old grandson was going up to bed and leaned over to give his aunt a kiss goodnight and the dog bit him in the stomach, it barely broke skin but this was the first sign.

I was going up to bed and forgot and reached over to hug her good night and he bit my arm, I had a sweatshirt on and it barely touched skin, but I was now aware he was going to bite. I did not forget again.

My 3 year old grandson had to go to the bathroom so dad went and they were running and the dog took after them, he pushed it out of the way, my 3 year old grandson also was playing with his cars making car sounds and the dog started after him and I pushed him out of the way.

They spanked the dog, kenneled him and it would not stop, it was a worry for me because we could not watch the dogs and kids all the time.

Success to all.

Sound like these people need to find a pet sitter when they leave.

We have two docile cats who are generally quite lovable.  But, when small children visit our home, one of the kitties turns into a little monster and attacks the kids, even when my wife and I are in the room.
