Trying to give the perfect gift is a dilema I face every time I have a closing. I really try to give something that is tailored "just for them"
I just had a closing with a delightful couple. In fact they were as close as you can get to Dream Buyers. I wanted to get them something really special...and memorable. They already have had a house...so they didn't need any "household" items. They are young with two very young children (4 & 1yr). They do everything with the children and rarely use babysitters!
Eurika...I had an idea! Thanks to Monika McGillicudy. Monika wrote a Blog called Ordiorne Park a Slice of New Hampshire Seacoast.Reading it reminded me of the fun my family had when my son was young at Ordiorne Park and at the Seacoast Science Center. They have a Children's "Hands On" Tidal Pool,Year Round Programs and Exhibits not to mention Bike Trails, Picnic Grounds and of course..the Seacoast! What better place for a "Let's Do It Together Family". ~~~~ I called the Science Center and ordered them a years Family Membership
GIFT BOX
The Membership Packet would be arriving in the mail at their new address so I did a Representative Gift Box to present at the closing.
I had a State Parks Map, a Candle Made of Shells (made it myself!), a Beachy Picture Frame and of course a Message in a Bottle! The message was a map of the park.
This could be done in any State just adjust the Theme Box to fit the Park, Family Center or Museum you choose!
My Clients really Loved It!.....I Hit a Home Run!!
