Please, don't let Christmas be over

I hate to say it, but I think Christmas is over.  Everybody is back to work, the kids are tired of all the gifts they got, the house no longer smells like pine and I'm about 10 pounds heavier.  It takes so long to get ready for Christmas, then boom... it's over.

I have to say that considering we're in a bad economy, I felt like this was one of my families best Christmas's.  I closed 3 escrows in December, gained 5000 points in Bob Stewart's latest A.R. contest, and avoided having my mother-in-law over for for the entire Christmas holiday.  Now it's time to get the kids back to school, and get some more work done.

Hope you all have a happy and safe New Year!

Christmas is over

Jim, I agree it goes by so fast.  Sometimes it is more fun just waiting for the holidays then when they actually get there.

JIm,

Please send me your mother-in-law's e-mail address so I can forward this post to her.  Naw, just kidding, we married guys need to have each others' backs.

All kidding aside, after a tough year, our family had one of the best Christmas' in memory...not because of presents or things material, but just because it was a great season, and we have each other.

Now if we could just move the school re-opening up a couple of days, life would be perfect.

I agree that it does seem to be over so quickly after all the preparations.  I am ready now for the kids to go back to school because I am tired of entertaining them.  Congratulations on a great end to the year.  By the way, I was not so lucky if you know what I mean :-)
