Today is Decmeber 28, 2009, and we had four guests on the North Idaho Business radio show on KSPT and KBFI.
Today's guests were Ryan Bliss from the new store at Bonner Mall: The Vapor Depot, Kyle Mercer from the Garden Company, Chief Robert Tyler of the Sandpoint Fire Department, and my old friend Pat Fecik of Captured Image Video Productions.
The Vapor Depot is a smoking alternative product that uses electronic cigarettes. No smoke, a great way to quit or at least get rid of the cancerous parts of cigarettes and cigars, and is very cool. They started as an internet start up, and now have a brick and mortar inside the mall.

Chief Robert Tyler of Sandpoint and Chief Rob Goodyear of Sagle were asking for volunteers for our fire departments. While we have a good crew, about 25 per area, only 10-15 are available at any given moment. When large scale emergencies arise, we could use more people. So, they are looking for about another 50 to go through their academy in January.
For more info, call the Sandpoint Fire Department: 208-265-1485.
Sagle Fire Department: 208-263-9541.
The Garden Company is a professional and personal growth company that travels all over the United States teaching people better life skills. They are headquartered in Sandpoint and run by Kyle Mercer and crew.
We have two great experiences here in North Idaho that help with personal growth and communication: The Garden Company and LifeSkills NW.
From January 14-17 The Garden Company is offering their $2,500 seminar, Mountain Experience, for $295 in a 3 1/2 day workshop.

Finally, we have become quite the little film Mecca, what with the NW Film Institute, the non-profit Sandpoint Films, and Lakedance International Film Festival.
I use video all the time, with my listings, to help people get a better picture when they are far away of our town and area, or homes they might be interested in, to communicate with potential clients. YouTube is my friend. If you are looking for someone to help you navigate, and/or film or edit for commercials, training, or even a cool short story, Pat Fecik of Captured Image Video Productions is the local pro.
Call him at 208-290-4814 or visit him a Main and 2nd by appointment.
