Zen and the art of Realtor maintenance

ooooooommmmm.

oooooooooommmmmmm.

Oh, hi there.  I didn't see you come in.  I was just doing a little Bikram Yoga (you might know it as "hot yoga"), and you caught me in my milopeng position.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Bikram yoga, it is done in a heated room, to limber up the muscles.... and Milopeng, is a horizontal pose, with head up facing forward, balancing the entire body on one hand.  Yes, it's an advanced pose.

Since the room is so hot, I usually perform these poses alone, and nude... but it's okay... I'm not embarrassed... as you can see from my photo on the left, my body is in such excellent shape, that I have nothing to be embarrassed about... (although I do need to work on those little love handles... but ah, well... I'll work on those next year).

oh, crap.  that was such a nice dream.

If you'd like to be performing Bikram Yoga next year... this is a good time to "clean house" in your mind... new year's resolutions are about.  Whatever it is you have in mind for 2010... visualize it now... and make it work.

If you'd just like to have a physique that you're not embarrassed to expose...  resolve!

It's all up to you.

Oooooooooooooommmmmmm....

(getting a touch chilly in here, don't you think?  Turn up the heat, and pass the chocolates.)

Alan,

It is time for those resolutions, isn't it? Now, if we can just make them and keep them. I think if we make resolutions that we feel are at least possible and then vow to "try" to keep them - we'll be fine. So, I guess quitting chocolates is off the table....

Thank Goodness.  This is one resolution I won't have to break.

My four visits to the gym and hour long workouts weekly keep me lean and mean.

I have made a "resolution" of sorts.

However, I'm not telling.  I haven't lost my mind.

I so didn't need to close out 2009 with that image in my mind. Fortunately, tonight's frosty adult beverages and time will heal my wounds!

Here's wishing you a very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year my friend.

Now go put on some clothes!!!

Hi Alan-

Never too soon to resolve to have more fun AND fit into the clothing in my closet.  Now, if I could just resolve to find the time...

Ok, I also have to confess that when I was in California, I toted home some of the big, bittersweet chocolate bars from Trader Joe's and some dry salami.  The salami is almost gone, and that chocolate may be next!

Sara - I've never considered chocolate-covered-dry-salami.  I'll have to try that.

Susan... unfortunately you'd lose that bet.  I make the casual observer feel sickly.

I always love to hear new years resolutions and then see the people who stuck to none of them a week later. As for me, every year I try to wipe the slate clean and start over, it does wonders for my sanity.
