Stop and ask. Or take a compass.

Whether you're a home grown native or a vacationing tourist, you'll save time and gas (and therefore money) if you get directions before you go. While we sometimes like to pretend we're smarter than OnStar, by knowing where we're going, we're guaranteed to get there a lot sooner than if we make U turns and pull into random driveways to turn around all over again. So, jot down directions, utilize the handy mapping technology on your brand new iPhone, or pack an atlas just to be sure. You'll end up driving less, which means you'll spew out less pollution.

Yes, I agree with you. I have a friend who is an agent and I am always stunned how she never has directions. She is notable person so she gets away with it. If I was her , I would be embarrassed if I looked like I did not know where I was taking my clients. Nestor is so adamant about having all the directions and sometimes we even drive the route before showings so we know where we are going. Thanks for the post.

I'm a big believer in directions! I like to have directions, maps, etc before I go. And sometimes I even ask people if the mapquest directions are correct before I head out.

I like to know where I am going & get there- but my wife likes to take the scenic routes. However, she has a built in compass in her head and rarely gets lost on her detours.
