Many resolutions will be made today the beggining of the year always reminds us of the things we would like to start this year. One of my mentors always use to say its not how you start its how you finish! Taking that approach I wanted to reflect backwards at 2009 and just say thank you to the many business partners that I have in the Ozarks. 2009 has been both a successful year but a very tough year in this business. I have made a decision to begin the new year at a new company, In searching for the new place to be I was met by 5 different offers at 5 different companies and I picked the one company that I believe is the perfect fit for me, and fits a long term plan I always take a job in this industry hoping to retire from the position that I am taking and this time I am doing the same thing.
Companies change, management changes, strategies change and sometimes that changes the plan on retiring from a particular company, I am proud that I have been in the business for almost 22 years now and can count on one hand how many places I have worked!
As we all reflect on 2009 and what worked and what didn't I wish all of you the best for a prosperous 2010, it will be another challenging year but doing your best, staying the course and having a goal to attain and complete will assist your thinking, when times get tough and challenges come our way whether they be regulatory or economic keeping focus on reaching and visualizing yourself hitting those goals will help you stay the course and attain what your hoping to attain in 2010. Plan on the reaching that goal in 2010.
