Lacrosse is growing in popularity in
Edmond, Oklahoma. Maybe you remember seeing them play on the fields next to Cheyenne Middle School (Covell and Kelly) last spring. Well, believe it or not registration has already started for spring 2010 at the MAC!
Teams for both boys and girls in grades one through twelve are forming now. Practices will begin in February. The season is March through May.
So, I bet your wondering how much it costs? Registration fees for the little guys in first through third grade are only $80. Youth league, kiddos in fourth through eighth grade is $150 and those high schoolers are $160. You should know that scholarships are available.

Like you we have closets full of the equipment and shoes that our girls have needed when they started a new activity. Well lacrosse is no exception. The equipment needed to play includes; helmet, with face mask, chin pad, and cupped four-point chin strap (no football or hockey helmets), shoulder pads (no football shoulder pads), stick (different for boys and girls), arm pads, gloves, mouth guard, and cleats for the boys. Girls need stick, goggles, mouth guard, and cleats.
