December has come to a close and another month is behind us. Typically it is the slowest month of the year. But in part because of the $8000 home buyer tax credit, the month was fairly busy. Here is just a sampling of some of the great house deals that our office sold during December 2009.

1. 200 Kathy Lane, Maitland, FL 32751. 5 bed/3.5 bath/2-car garage with 3406 square feet. Major fixer-upper. Sold to a cash buyer for only $135,000. That's just $39.64 per square foot.
2. 3065 Riverside Park Road, Orlando, FL 32810. 3 bed/1 bath. Short sale on big corner lot with frontage directly on the Little Wekiva River and a 3-car garage. Sold for only $31,500. Should rent for at least $700 per month. Talk about a cash cow.
3. 407 S. Edgemon Avenue, Winter Springs, FL 32708. 3/2/2 in great condition and in great Seminole County school district. Sold for $147,500.
4. 13914 Huntwick Drive, Orlando, FL 32837. 3/2/2 pool home in the Hunters Creek area of South Orlando. This was one of those short sales that dragged on and on. But eventually it did close for $194,567.
5. 17556 Deer Isle Circle, Winter Garden, FL 34787. 3 bed/3.5 bath pool home on nearly 1-acre lot. Bank owned REO. Sold for $290,000.
