Joyce, I couldn't agree with you more (notice only one negative)! Some of the marketing comments agents write are unbelievable. And when are people going to learn the difference between there, their and they're??? I'm not the world's best speller, but I can use spell check! Hell, I feel guilty shortcutting a word when sending a text! LOL (well maybe not all of them). Proof read people!
wud u trust a "professional" who uses lousy gramar or no spel chek?
I know I wouldn't. Good post!
I don't really blame the education system. I blame the parents. And technology. With phone texting and instant message, there's a trend to use bad spelling and grammar in a cyber shorthand. "omg r u serious u said that 2 ur boss b4 quitting" Once this habit is picked up, one tends to lose grammar and spelling skills. Very good post!

Your post points out why good grammar and spell check will separate a lot of people from the mix.

I posted about something similar months ago. I am always stunned by the poor grammar that I hear on a daily basis. "I shoulda went " is one of my favorites.
