IT'S the coldest weather we've had this winter. It was13 degrees over night and the temperature was no more than 15 degrees at 10 am. My customers had driven at about 2 hours to get here and with the snow flurries, I expected them to be a little late. But sure enough, 10 minutes after 10 they came through the door excited to see THE HIGHLANDS AT BIG SOUTH FORK, a beautiful equestrian community within 15 minutes of the BIG SOUTH FORK NATIONAL RIVER AND RECREATION AREA.
She is an endurance rider - has won the Annual Fall Endurance Ride at BIG SOUTH FORK and rides with gals in their 60s who she calls the "Wolf Pack" because they are so tough they would "eat their young". Suffice it to say our day was all about looking for that "right" piece of property. OR a home already built and ready to move into. At THE HIGHLANDS, YOU CAN HAVE THE BEST CIRCUMSTANCES FOR RETIREMENT - no maintenance, and TRAILS, TRAILS, and more of the BEST of the Best Trails in the Trail Riding Capitol of the Southeast. We had a great day looking - they settled with the idea that THE HIGHLANDS is where they want to be - now they have the task of deciding between 3 or 4 options - all which they love for various reasons. Are they able? - well it depends on whether they choose a property to build on later - or a home. They are ready in their minds - they know where they want to be and they will be willing as soon as they sort out which way they want to go with the property. So... Able, Ready and Willing - you will find these tenets in SHIFT. I was up in the middle of the night last night reading SHIFT because I was so excited to know another Arabian horse lover was coming to town - another like-minded rider to become friends with - can it get any better than that?
Below is what suited up for 20 degree weather riding looks like. BRRRR but FUN!
