The average Pembroke single family home is valued at $331,200 down from the fiscal year 2009 average single family home value of $363,800, a decrease in value of $32,600. What does this translate to? Well although the average value has decreased from fiscal year 2009 to fiscal year 2010 the tax rate has been increased to $12.89 per $1,000 of property valuation which equates to an increase for the average family homeowner in their tax bill of $57 over last year with a tax bill for the home valued at $331,200 being $4,238.
I obtained this information from an article in the Boston Globe with the information being quoted by Pembroke's chief assessor Catherine Salmon.
