What an incredible photo of the cardinal. It does leave one speechless... nicely executed.
Carol - Absolutely beautiful picture of the cardinal. And by the tilt of his head - he does appear ready to give some lip!
Love the cardinal! Yup....that birdie is surely talking to you!
Carol ~ Great shot. He looks like he is saying "Don't bother me, I'm busy here."
Carol - Beautiful photo! Thanks for sharing. I love watching them in my yard flying from shrubs to shrubs.
Hey Carol, what a beautiful bird. I just love bird watching.
Great photo...reminds me of baseball season and that spring is right around the corner. You might guess that I'm a Cardinal fan but you would be wrong........go Cubbies!
Hello Carol and this is a great title and a very beautiful photograph, thanks for the view!
VB ;o)
What a great looking photo. Thank you for taking the time to share this.
Carol, Wow, that took my breath away! Very, VERY rarely do I get to see one of these spectacular cardinals here and when I do they are usually blue. I stop and just stare at them, they are so gorgeous. I can't believe how well you captured this!
HAHA - Carol, that is a spot on caption for the photo! He does have that little head jerk/attitude thing gonig on!
Very nice cardinal, we do not often see them up here.. Thanks for sharing
Hello Carol, what a great shot! You're lucky as well, as we don't have Cardinals but instead, the very dark violet-black-blue Stellar's Jays -- just not the same as the Cardinal. Thanks! John
I was actually out walking today and taking photos of cardinals but I didn't get any closeups like yours. What a beauty he is.
Thank you all for your kind comments. :)) Since I hung feeders off the deck rail we have had a steady run of cardinals, blue jays, black capped chickadees, woodpeckers, tufted titmice, sparrows and finches. Sometimes I think they put the word out where the free food is! Stay tuned! I hope to have more photos of my backyard friends. They really are quite comical.
The attitude that you were able to capture in your photo is just priceless!
Carol, That is a gorgeous photo and your caption is so fitting!
Carol, I think you've found your niche! What an incredible photo!!!!
