12 Comments on WHY A HOME STAGER?
They say only ten percent of buyers can actually visualize so that other 90 percent is going to have a real problem seeing the potential beauty in a house if we don't show it to them.
Hey Sharon,
Good eye, I just posted this. Right on: this is the year for the blindfolds to come off!
Love the quote. Most buyers have a problem with visualizing their belongings in a home especially if it is empty.
Thanks for pointing out to realtors & homesellers - as stagers, we are on their side. We want the same things and we do what we can to bring about the most favorable results.
Hi Diane,
This is so true. This is why staging is so important so buyers don't have to work at trying to figure out whether this would be a good fit for them or not. We stage the house so they know immediately when they walk in that they are home!
Hi Cheryl,
I understand your comment; however it is not about sides. Home Stagers want to work with realtors and sellers to assist them in achieving their goals, which we share. Home Stagers are not competition, nor an unnecessary service. Our services increase the value of a listing and bring in more buyers. Let's make 2010 the year that more sellers and realtors appreciate the value of home staging and include it in their selling process.
Hi Sharon! Enjoyed your post! All the best to you in 2010!
Thank you Suzanne. All the best to you as well!
Hi Sharon, that is my point exactly, although maybe 'side' wasn't the best term for me to have used. Thanks for clarifying my thoughts. You've worded it very well.
Cheryl,
My pleasure. There are certainly times when it feels as if a line has been drawn in the sand!
Well said ... I especially like the last line ... "toss old thought patterns and embrace new" ... it could be all the difference in being a so so Realtor and a record breaking one!
Sharon, I love the quote too! Nice, concise post. Great way to start off the new year. All the best to you!
Hi Liz & Cathy,
I appreciate your comments. Best wishes to both of you!
