My good Samaritan neighbor Comes to The Rescue!
So Cleveland Ohio got pounded with snow today. It just kept falling, and falling, and falling. I had a white knuckle drive today when I drove my daughter to where her bus picks her up. But I got home safely.
I then went to sing a funeral for the father of a friend of mine and then it was off the office where we had pizza and salad...a meet and greet for all the new agents that recently joined ReMax Trinity.
Since it was lousy outside I decided to stay and work in the office to schedule showings for 10 homes tomorrow (now moved to Wednesday with the approval of a very nice buyer who I think was as happy to postpone as I was). I will show almost anytime but not if I think I will put myself or anyone else in danger.
I should have come home earlier though because when I got home around 4:00p.m. my driveway had about 8 inches of snow in it, even though my husband plowed it this morning!
So I did what a lot of people do. (Don't say you don't because I know you do!!)
I sped up the driveway only to get stuck in the middle. So I did what a lot of people do. (Don't say you don't because I know you do!)
I put the car in reverse and backed down the street so I could get a "running start" and you guessed it. I got stuck in the exact same spot which I knew I would but I had to try anyway.
So I did what a lot of people women do. (Don't say you don't because I know you do!) I went inside, had a nice hot cup of coffee and decided to wait until my husband got home and he could plow the driveway.
So I set about changing all my showing appts. to Wednesday and I suddenly heard what I thought was a snow blower. I went to the front door and saw that the apron and up to my stuck car was clean! Then I went to the side door to see who the good Samaritan was and saw my neighbor Jason. I said thank you about one thousand times. He said he wasn't sure if Lou was home (aka traveling for business) and wanted to make sure my car did not sit out all night!!
Now wasn't that neighborly and extremely generous? I think so. Thank you Jason. I TRULY appreciate it!
