Hi Roy and Gail: I found this article interesting. It's about Indymac/One West Bank, which speaks of of a "SWEETHEART" deal and although I do not know its validity, it does allow the readers mind to think of the possibilities....

I have seen news reports about this situation with One West / Indymac, Like the story of a family in New York were the Judge ruled to wipe out the family's mortgage because One West / Indymac was so un-ethical with their MOD.
Thankfully I am not doing MOD's, I am currently conducting a short sale with them. I am very persistant with my short sales, so I am not that worried.
I will post my results later.
Roy & Gail, While it makes economic sense for banks to maximize their return on investment and pursue that course of action regardless of the outcome to borrowers. I guess we were all a bit surprised when the banks received "sweetheart" deals from FDIC and Congress and didn't adopt a "we're-all-in-this-together" attitude.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS? THEY ALL SAY YOUR CALL CANOT BER COMPLETED AT THIS TIME, FOR ALL OF THEM???? DOES ANYONE HAVE ANOTHER NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS WHOM I CAN CONTACT, I REALLY FEEL STRANGE AND CONFUSED BY ALL THESE NUMBERS NOT BEING ANSWERS....WHERE DOES A CUSTOMER GO???
