When Life Gives You Lemons...You Do What???

By

When Life gives you Lemons

Each year we start the year with a clean slate, and with lessons learned from the previous year. Making resolutions, setting goals and completing tasks. As hard as we try to take the right road and move forward. Life happens. Whether good or bad, we tend to get sidetracked or distracted.  When good things happen we want the celebrating to begin. But when bad things happen we become fearful and unmotivated. This is the story of most of our lives.  So what do you do?  Hopefully, move on and move forward.

As you approach your midlife, you realize you can't change everything. Life happens...

The only things in this life that you really regret are the risks you didn't take. And God knows if you see a chance to be happy, you grab it with both hands and to hell with the consequences...

So when life gives you lemons.....make lemonade!

But what I want to know is....if life gives you lemons, what do YOU do?

And thank you for making me Your Orange County Real Estate Connection.

This is the best business, we may have our ups and downs and certainly the economy can impact us but we are fully incharge of our options and our earning power....our income is in direct proportion to our hardwork, our creativity and our stick*to*it*ness.  keep a positive attitude about you and your lemons may just turn out to be so sweet!

Happy New Year!

I have had my share of lemons in life.  I have learned that these are the things that help us to grow and become better at who we are and what we do.

Hi Michael...As I've left midlife behind me I can say that I have made some lemonade although I've had much more fudge in my life.  Yummy!

I used that on my 9 year old today when she didn't get her way.  That phrase fits many different situations....

Michael...it's important to have eyes of faith to be able to see that you actually have lemons...and of course, don't bury the talents given to you from above...Lemons to lemonade means a change in mindset...Thanks for your post...

MaryBeth, I totally agree about being fully in charge. It's hard work, positive attitude and staying focused that keeps our goals attainable. And sometimes if you've been given a lemon throw it back! Good luck to you in 2010!

Tammie, That is what life is all about, how you handle yourself in good and in tough situations. The lessons learned, that help us grow. Have a prosperous 2010!

Kate,  I've hade my share of lemons, lemonade, and lemon pie throughout the years. But I too have a sweet tooth for chocolate. Makes everyday much sweeter....Happy New year!

Usually, I leave a response or Thank You on the private email of the person leaving the comment, but this year, due to popular demand, I will be leaving my responses on the blogsite. Unless, I have something of personal nature to say...

Thank you all for stopping by and leaving a comment.

John,  I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a successful 2010!

Heather, I hope your daughter got the message. When I've said that phrase to my college kids, they've come back with such funny and incredible responses. But all in all, it's the same meaning...never give up and work with what you have.  Good luck to you in 2010!

Norma, I have made my share of lemonade. it's what you do with the lemons that shapes who you are and how you can succeed.  I just hate it, if it gets in my eyes....really stings!  Hahaha! Happy New Year to you!

Cherise, I agree with you. Sometimes, we don't always "see" what is in front of us. Faith can help guide us when we don't know what to do with those lemons.  Thank you for your comment.  Good luck in 2010!

Michael
