What get a real job. You mean one with a set schedule and a corporate ladder to climb or better yet put up with? No thanks, I like it right here where I am. Working for the man will never get it done. He will always find something to gripe about. The annual 2% raise wow that works for me. No thank you working with the real estate is beautiful. The harder I work the more I make. I also can come and go as I please. Nope no nine to five for me ever again.

John -- I too spent 20 years in the Army and was petrified when I whent to work for a commission only. I have been doing this now for 23 years and I can truly say that I enjoy every minute of it. Being a Loan Officer though I am still kind of tied to normal business hours, but I still enjoy it and will quit when it is no longer fun. Aloha

I love it when I'm somewhere in the middle of the day like the barbershop, or the grocery store, or my martial arts class and it is not crowded like it would be on weekends or evenings and someone asks me "Taking the day off from work?" and explain that no, I make my own schedule and that I'm a Realtor, and it often sparks a conversation about real estate and ends up in my getting my business card into their hands!
