I am sure I am not the only agent that has thought to use this slogan for sure but I wanted to share what that meant to me as an agent for the new year ahead. I have been given all the right tools, had the best training, been motivated by the best motivators out there. Read books, watched movies and been inspired by all of them. For me to make this happen "Win in 2010" I plan to take all that I have learned in the past and just make it happen. I can learn from the best but the only person stopping me from making it happen is ME. I know what to do I just have to do it. So here it goes my top 5 for me to WIN in 2010 are:
1. Accountablity- for me to hold myself accountable for the goals I have set and to keep a schedule and stay on track daily with my goals and not to lose focus.
2. Practice- to practice my scripts and role play with other agents because practice makes perfect in any profession. The more you know, the more you grow as an agent and a person.
3. Knowledge- to know more about the business and the market I am currently in. You cannot win in this business today if you don't change with the business. You have to stay current on what is going on around you and know your market, your clients will.
4. Sharing what you know-if you share with others what you know you will be more successful with your business and in life. Most of the time when you share with others an idea or tool that you use 99% of them will not do it anyway. It is always good to share with everyone and work on being a team. Help others and you will be helping yourself. You never know what you might learn from them.
5. Action-taking action to follow up with clients, keep them informed and to follow up on leads and turn them into clients. Also to exceed their expectations not just meet them. We all have a job we have to do but why not go above and beyond and show them that we love what we do and we are not just here for a paycheck but that it's our passion to help people and care about them and one of the most important decisions they make in life. We have an important job, let's not take it lightly.
Those are my top 5 and I also wanted to share with everyone to have fun while doing it. Life is short so why not have fun and remember when setting your goals don't make ones you know you can reach, make goals that push you and pull you out of your comfort zone!
Thanks,
