.........clear vision of how 2010 is going to look. What did you learn in 2009 that you can apply to 2010 to make it a better more productive and more organized year. Most people find that one of their top goals set for 2010 are:

1. Be more organized

2. Make more money/ more transactions this year.

We have all set goals like these at one time or another. Have you achieve these such goals before or do you keep resetting the same goals? Are you tackling the goals the same way as the previous years?

Here are some ways that I have acheive some of my goals and maybe you can share any ideas that you have done that has worked for you.

1. The basic and first step. Write the goals down and read them everyday.

                                                                                                                                            Share them with someone else.

2. I always read something positive to start my day.

2. Embrace failure accept change and learn from it. It is part of life's tuition.

There is always a lesson to learn.

3. Stay focused from start to finish.

4. Reward yourself when you reach a goal. A little massage would be nice.

If you just talk about what you want to accomplish in 2010 you will be setting the same goals for 2011. Write to down, map it out on where you are going and when you get there reward yourself and then set more goals.  May you be blessed with gratitude, great health, and much success in 2010.

I especially like #4! Reward is so important. We need to take time out for ourselves more often. Thanks for the words of inspiration.

Natalie,

Many people state goals without thinking about the process for achieving those goals.  When they consistently do this, year after year, they find that they never fully meet their goals.

For these people, perhaps they should start from the other end.  They could think about their typical processes and see what it normally yields.  If they want more, then they would know that they would need to adjust the processes in order to achieve the more lofty goals.

Melissa,

I like #4 myself. People feel they do not deserve to be rewarded. So think it is stupid. It is the opposite. Once you get uses to rewards to gets easier to know you deserve it.

Joesph,

You are absolutely right. People need to think through the process of their actions and if their achieve their goals what would it get them. Great advise on starting with the end first. Thanks!
