In continuing our series about the many wonderful Congregations that add so much to our community.  The First Church that I am highlight in this blog is the First Baptist Church.  It is a Southern Baptist Congregation it is also the location of the soup kitchen here in Cedar City.

This Church is located on 200 North near the downtown area of Cedar City.

The next Church that I am highlighting today is the Calvary Chapel in Cedar City.  It is located near the airport on airport road in Cedar City.

Again these two Churches and thier congregations are such a great benefit to our community!  We are blessed greatly by the diversity of Denominations here!

Darcy, It is one of the things that most people look for when moving into a new community.  What a great way of sharing with people who have concerns but this is probably one of the last things they look for when they arrive into a community ...... you just made moving easier for alot of people!

Hi Darcy and Tony,

Very nice series on your community churches and people most certainly always like to know where they can best find a church for their faith.

Ann: Thank you, as I mentioned to Barb, it is something that we, if we were home buyers would look for.

William: That is exactly what we thought!

Myrl: Thank you!  There are a lot of Beautiful people here also!  We just want people to know what is available besides the Natural beauty of the area!

This is a great idea to post on your local blogs.  Folks new to the area can see the local Churches and find out where they are.

Great Job Tony & Darcy, Cedar City is a great town. People have no idea of the amazing things that come out of Cedar City. The Shakespearian festival and the arts are alive and well. Not to mention  I have neices and nephews living there. Thanks for highlighting those who do good things in your community.

Diane: Thank you, that is what we thought as well.  It is one of the first things we looked at when we moved.

Debi: Thank you.

Randy: Thank you as well.  It is somewhat of a hidden gem, we like it here for these and other reasons.  I grew up in Northern Utah, and the only reason that I would consider moving back is family and friends, other than that, I really like it down here.

Tony & Darcy,  I've been enjoying your series.  I've driven through Cedar City many times and had no idea about all the churches.  I think it is one of the best series ideas that I have seen for real estate.
