Quick note from me before the sappy stuff starts. I'm proud to announce that my little company, IBA is celebrating 5 years in business this year. I never thought I'd make it as far as I did and now I have a true passion for real estate! We are not a fortune 500 but as far as small town agencies go I couldn't be happier! Hooray! .....And now for the weather:
This Northern Transplant Yankee (I say this with great pride) is just about as happy as she can be tonight! looks like we will be having snow here in Big Canoe and the North Georgia mountains come this Thursday! No need to worry about milk, bread and eggs here I've been waiting patiently for the snow now for a while. we had an itty bit of snow last week. my kids made mini snow men at midnight that looked like Salvador Dali sculptures bythe morning, LOL!
Needless to say it is such a special event when it snows up here in the mountains. We love it and have a fire going all day along with a barrel full of hot chocolate! All the neighbors come out of the woodwork for a walk and a chat. Hate to be a sentimental fool but it brings a tear to my eye when I think of how cool a snow day was when I was a kid! I can still hear the town horn blow at 7AM to alert all or Park Ridge, NJ that the kids would be staying home!
I love mid week snows because my Atlanta clients come up and still see the white stuff blanketting the woods and they get hooked, just like I did five years ago!
Forever Young!!!!
