My owner is a Realtor with Century 21 Award in San Diego.I haven't been able to get an H1N1 flu shot and wonder if I ever will. My mom's boyfriend got his six months ago because he works in health care.

I just came from Wal-Mart, which was advertising free H1N1 flu shots today, but apparently they ran out before noon and closed down.

There are other H1N1 vaccination centers in the next couple of weeks that will also be offering free shots:

  1. Friday, January 8, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Qualcomm Stadium, 9449 Friars Road, San Diego
  2. Saturday, January 9, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
East Valley Community Center, 2245 E. Valley Parkway, Escondido
  3. Friday, January 15, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Ronald Reagan Community Center, 195 E. Douglas Ave., El Cajon
  4. Saturday, January 16, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Kimball senior Center, 121 D Ave., National City
  5. Saturday, January 16, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Westfield Plaza Camino Real, 2525 El Camino Real, Carlsbad

I'm going to Qualcomm Stadium tomorrow, but I suspect lines will be forming around 8:00 a.m., and I'm just not that much of a morning person to go stand in a line for six hours.

Jim, you look to be in the best of health and have natural immunity going for you as a result!  There is some price to pay with any and all man-made insertions into our bodies, but the hype and advertisements do a good job of making it look like we had all better be vaccinated.  Check it out and keep doing what you are doing to look as good as you do!!!

That's great that you have places giving them out for free.  I'm really not very good with shots in general, so I haven't even gotten the regular flu shot.  I hope that you can get up early enough one of these days so that you can take advantage of the opportunity to get your H1N1 :)

Hey, James  - And I'd like to stay that way! I've been getting an annual flu show for many years now. We've had more than sixty deaths just in San Diego County from H1N1, so all the hype and advertisements just might be relevant. I think it might be better to be safe than sorry, or dead. I think a lot of this stuff comes from us playing around with Mother and Father Nature, but we also have the technology to do good, too.

Hey, David - I went by the Stadium, but the lines were too long for my taste.

Hey, Jim - I got up a little earlier but lots of other people had the same idea and beat me to the Stadium.

Hey, Carra - By the time I actually get a shot, the pandemic might be over with!
