I came across a scripture....I think fits with what we do.

Ecclesistes 11:4 "He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap."

I believe that in this business we need to always stay positive, always look for ways that will keep us training for the race to the finish line.  Today is where I take a few hours learning something new , review old material, and everyday looking at the bible for meaning.  Today I reread a scripture about excuse making, giving myself more reasons not to work than reasons to work.  The scripture above talks about coming up with one of many excuses not to be successful at anything and the result of doing nothing."

Now I know that there are non believers out there that this may offend, but even if you are not, don't miss out on the meaning.

My weakness has always been farming, getting out there and talking to folks and just letting my pleasant personality take over.  Believe me when I say this I use to come up with any reason not to, if it looked like rain or here in Georgia (TOO HOT), well I use this as a platform to cover up the real problem and that was not to farm.

Truth be told, my real problem was rejection and I had to get past this if I was going to stay in this business and make a good living.  People work with people they like, some will, some won't, so what, next....

In closing, don't look for reasons not to, look for the benefits of working such as providing you with some of your wants in addition to the things you need.  40 hours a week of working a hourly job at $18.00 an hour will reap $3,120 gross a month, a 100% agent who sells a 200k home at a 3% commission makes $6000 minus some fees.  Focus on the end and what you have to do today does not seem so tough.
