We had so much fun at Waterville Valley Realty's last Apres Ski Party, we have decided to do it again!
Join us at Waterville Valley Realty on Saturday, Jan. 16, from 3 to 5 p.m. for apres-ski/pre-dinner drinks and delectables...including my now famous (?!) chicken hot wings.
Co-hosting our Apres Ski Party will be Ted Hammond and Ron Poitras.
Ted is a local building contractor who recently completed construction on a beautiful home in Waterville Valley's new Moose Run subdivision. This home is one of the first in Waterville Valley to install a geothermal heating system. Ted specializes in all aspects of green building, including use of local sources and earth-friendly materials, energy efficient construction, application of geothermal and solar technology, and emphasis on recycling and minimal waste during the construction process. Ted is also an ENERGY STAR Partner and has commited to building 100% of his homes to ENERGY STAR performance guidelines. Ted is also one of the region's most renowned rock climbers and has many tales to share of his climbing exploits! Ron is a mortgage loan consultant with Mortgage Network, the largest independent mortgage company in New England. Ron offers custom financing solutions, including one mortgage application and closing, no builder approvals and mortgage pre-approvals. We've been working with Ron for many years and he's a well-known and respected presence in the Lakes Region.
We're also excited to have several others joining us at the Apres Ski Party:
Peter Costa of Ultra Geothermal, Inc., who installed the geothermal heating system in the home at Moose Run; Chris Johnson of the NH Electric Co-op's ENERGY STAR homes program, who is very knowledgeable about the tax benefits of ENERGY STAR building; and Sharon Sheehan of Pella Windows.
